A menstrual cup is a small, flexible cup that you insert into your vagina. Instead of absorbing your period flow, like a tampon or pad, the cup catches and collects your flow. After 8 to 12 hours, you remove the cup and wash it out for reuse. Menstrual cups is as a reliable option to maintain comfort and hygiene during water workouts. They provide leak-free protection, allowing you to focus on your exercise routine without any worries!

You can buy your menstrual cup online or at the nearest pharmacy.  They usually cost between $30 to $50, but think about how much you will save on tampons and pads! You can buy it here

Tampons

We all know the good ol’ tampons, but to my surprise a lot of women do not use them here in Singapore! If you are keen to try tampons, they are a great choice as they are available in all supermarkets and pharmacies in Singapore. It is also the best option when your periods happen right before class. It is definitely our team‘s favourite option! Ensure you use the right absorbency level for your flow and don’t forget you have it on!

Menstrual Swimwear

This one is quite new, I’m sure most of you have never heard of it! Period underwear is now more and more popular with people who wore pads as they are much more comfortable to use, cheaper in the long run and better for the planet. Did you know there is a version of these available for the water? I have not found menstrual swimwear in Singapore (yet) but there are a few brands that ship internationally. These high-quality menstrual swimwear are designed specifically for water activities. These innovative garments offer discreet protection and peace of mind, so you can move freely and confidently throughout your workout – How amazing is that!
