Alicia Dedigama

At 17, after a knee injury I was told surgery or lifelong medication were my only options. I tried it all—meds, injections, supplements, knee guards—but nothing worked until I found aquabiking. Regular aquatic workouts not only kept my pain at bay, they gave me back my strength, confidence, and freedom. That revelation inspired me to bring aquafitness to Singapore, and in 2012, Yannick and I founded The Ripple Club. My passion is motivating others to believe in the power of their bodies and proving that no matter the hurdle, you can always achieve your full potential!

After a near-fatal accident that left me in a coma, I woke up having to start from scratch. For someone who had always been sporty, even walking around the block felt like a mountain. I know what it’s like to feel your body has failed you—but I also know there’s always a way back to your best self. That’s why I’m passionate about helping others build strength, confidence, and resilience through aquatic fitness. My mission is to grow The Ripple Club so more people can experience this life-changing journey. Join us in the water!

Movement is my medicine. With my naturally high energy, fitness gives me the focus, clarity, and joy I need to show up fully every day. What began as a personal outlet has completely transformed my confidence and sense of purpose—so much so that I changed my career to empower others through movement. Fitness is where I feel most alive, and I love helping others find that feeling too.

My goal? That you leave every class feeling strong, uplifted, and connected. After 20 years of teaching, I know that the magic isn’t just in the workout—it’s in the community.

I then discovered The Ripple Club and loved it so much I decided to spread the wellness word about aqua workouts – I challenge you to be inspired by its benefits too!

After a meniscus tear left me unable to run or jump for 18 months, I felt frustrated and stuck. Then I discovered aqua spinning at The Ripple Club—and within two months, I was back to running, jumping, and even burpees! Fitness has given me strength, energy, and the freedom to enjoy life fully—whether teaching classes or exploring on holiday. What I love most is sharing that joy and positivity with others. My goal is for every client to leave class feeling welcomed, empowered, and reminded that fitness can be fun, rejuvenating, and full of good vibes.
