This is an ideal time to reevaluate your current fitness routine. How did you do this year? If you feel you could have exercised more regularly and to improve that, this blog post was written for you! When asked, how do you stay motivated when life gets in the way? I reply,\u00a0 because I know WHY I exercise. You have troubles sticking to a regular exercise regime? The answer is simple: you have not found your why yet. It should be the driving force behind your commitment to exercise. The reason why you can\u2019t stop and won\u2019t stop no matter the time of the year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do you find your \u201cWhy\u201d?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"717\" src=\"https:\/\/therippleclub.fit\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture3-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3278\" srcset=\"https:\/\/therippleclub.fit\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture3-2.png 1024w, https:\/\/therippleclub.fit\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture3-2-300x210.png 300w, https:\/\/therippleclub.fit\/th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture3-2-768x538.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Find a quiet spot and answer the following 3 questions honestly.&nbsp; Here is an example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Question 1 : Why do I exercise?<\/em>&nbsp; Answer 1: Because I want to lose weight<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Question 2: Why do you want to lose weight?<\/em>&nbsp;Answer 2: Because my health is not at his best right now<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Question 3: Why do you want your health to get better?<\/em>&nbsp;Answer 3: Because I want to see my children grow and not be burden for them<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here you go! That\u2019s your why: You exercise to maintain your functional independence and be able to enjoy your children\u2019s company for as long as you can!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few common \u201cwhys\u201d are: to reduce stress, for my mental health, to keep functional independence, for my family or loved ones, for my self-confidence, to be a role model for my family.. Knowing that purpose helps you set clear intentions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sustained Motivation<\/strong>: When you\u2019re aware of why you\u2019re exercising, you\u2019re more likely to stay motivated even during challenging\u00a0 or busy times. Your \u201cwhy\u201d serves as a powerful reminder of your commitment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Long-Term Commitment<\/strong>: Your \u201cwhy\u201d transcends short-term resolutions. It\u2019s a deep-rooted reason that sustains your commitment to fitness throughout the year, not just when you list out your New Year\u2019s resolutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Improved Accountability<\/strong>: Knowing your \u201cwhy\u201d makes you more accountable to yourself. It\u2019s a source of self-motivation that encourages you to stick with your exercise routine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As we approach the year\u2019s end, remember the reason \u201cwhy\u201d you exercise, and use it as your guiding light. It will ensure that your commitment to fitness is unwavering, even amidst holiday indulgences and busy schedules. Your \u201cwhy\u201d keeps you focused, motivated, and accountable, leading to a healthier and happier you in the upcoming year and beyond! Write it down, tell your loved ones about it, make it a big thing, and let it propel you towards a healthier, more vibrant future.
